Grey Roots Museum and Archives Main Gallery Redesign

In early 2017, Blue Rhino Design was awarded the contract to redesign the main gallery of the Grey Roots Museum and Archives in Owen Sound, Ontario. This will be a multi-year project where we will start with a Master Plan for the entire gallery and develop detailed designs to refresh the central portion of the main gallery.

Our inspiration comes from Grey County's description of the community, its people, and history: “A distinctive history of independent thinking and perseverance has shaped Grey County into a colourful tapestry of unique communities that characterize the spirit of entrepreneurship, leadership and fortitude.”

We are excited and honoured to tell the story of Grey County, both to tourists and residents alike. Regional museums bring history, culture and nature alive and are an important cultural resource.
